1 More Day... To be the MVP

Stephen "Steph" Curry is currently known as one of the best NBA shooters in basketball. He's won a national championship and headed back to try to win another one starting tomorrow.  He's been named the Most Valuable Player in the NBA for the last two years. He's so fun to watch and a true leader of his team.

However, not everyone recognized Steph's potential. Just seven years ago, Steph's scouting report stated he had an average wingspan, average size, a frail frame and not a true point guard.

That scout obviously missed it. And it is reported that the scout was fired.

I think it's about time we fire some scouts from our lives - those voices in our head that tell us we, too, aren't a true point guard able to control the ball or call the plays. Or maybe there are people whose opinions of us matter more than they should.

Aren't you glad God doesn't ask someone else what they think of us? He sees us through His eyes of grace and mercy. He sees us for who we can be. And He loves us!!!

We have potential!  We are the MVP of our own story because of Jesus' plan for us.
